What is a Christian Nation?

A Christian nation does not necessarily mean that the religion of the country is Christian. For me, a Christian nation composes of people who believe in Jesus Christ and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Messiah who gave his life at the cross for our sins and without him, there’s no redemption.  For me, if the majority of people in a certain country believe on this, we can call them a Christian nation. A Christian nation is all about Christ and Christ alone.

Is the Philippines a Christian Nation?

For me, Yes. Because as we all know, Philippines is the only Christian nation in Asia. Majority of the people here believes that Christ saves us at the cross of Calvary. Majority is Catholics and they are also Christians. Many people really have a big faith but their faith sometimes lead to misconception. The Holy week for instance, They hurt themselves because they believe that they could lessen their sins if blood comes out but that's necessarily not true. Jesus said in his 7 last words that it is finish. so basically, we were already redeemed.
