Last March 9, 2009, we have a seminar entitled Sarbanes-Oxley seminar. it was held in the auditorium. The speaker was Mr. Robbie Sia, our thesis adviser and a professor here in our school. He shared and discuss information about Sox. He shares that every company has Sox. They need it so that their company would grow and become competitive. He showed video clips about it in a manner of comparing it to something that we are encountering everyday. 

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act is arranged into eleven sections but there are only five (5) which is the most important sections. These are Section 302, Section 401, Section 404, Section 409, and Section 802. This act helps the company for successful management and auditing which will give them success and efficiency. This also shows moral responsibility for the company and to ensure that they our doing their job in the society.
